Cardamine lyrata is a popular in the aquarium as it is undemanding and easy to grow. This plant resembles a trailing vine which makes it highly decorative in the aquarium or pond. The leaves of C.lyrata are kidney-shaped with a light green coloration that provides an excellent contrast against darker coloured plants. C.lyrata is very easy to grow and does not require CO2 although the growth will be faster and healthier from it.
