Glossostigma elatinoides ‘Glosso’ is a small creeping plant found in Australia and New Zealand. Its ability to form a dense lawn like carpet at a rapid pace is reason why this plant is very popular in aquascapes. Each plantlet is made up of two spatula shaped leaves. It spreads by shooting out runners and when left unchecked can completely cover the substrate.

To plant the Glosso just simply separate the bunch into groups of 2-3 plantlets. Then plant them into the substrate about 2-3 cm apart.

Each cup is approximately 75mm in diameter.

Tissue culture plants can be kept its sealed container for some time (even weeks) before planting. However it is recommended to use the plants right away as they will be in better health. Keep in a cool place, out of bright light.
