Star Moss is a rare and captivating moss characterised by its star-shaped tips. This moss has roots which can readily attach itself onto driftwood or rocks. It propagates by forming fronds from the base much like fissidens. Star Moss does not require bright lights or CO2 to grow however a balance of good lighting and CO2 is recommended for quicker growth. Star Moss is a great and valuable addition to planted or shrimp tanks.
